Overview
We’re looking for an experienced
IT Manager
to take ownership of our technology infrastructure, systems, and team. This is an opportunity to lead a growing IT function, shape strategy, and make a direct impact across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical depth, proven management experience, and the ability to balance day-to-day operations with long-term strategy. What You’ll Do
Lead & mentor the team:
Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure IT operations run smoothly and team members continue to grow. Manage systems & infrastructure:
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks, ensuring performance and scalability. Ensure security & compliance:
Implement security protocols, monitor for breaches, and enforce best practices around data protection and compliance. Drive projects:
Plan and execute IT initiatives such as upgrades, deployments, and network improvements on time and within budget. Troubleshoot & support:
Act as escalation point for technical issues, minimizing downtime and supporting employees across the business. Vendor & budget management:
Build strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage IT budgets effectively. Plan for continuity:
Design disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard operations and data. Shape technology strategy:
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and competitiveness. What We’re Looking For
5+ years of IT management or related leadership experience with a proven track record of managing teams and projects. Strong technical background across infrastructure, networking, systems, and cloud. Skilled in Windows, Linux, macOS, networking protocols, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with cybersecurity, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree or certifications a plus). Nice to Have
Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA, or Microsoft. Background in managed services or supporting multiple offices. Cloud migration and cloud-based service experience. Hands-on experience with Microsoft servers (2008, 2012, 2019), Exchange, O365, VMware, VSphere, Avaya, Cisco, Linux, Box.com, and Gmail. Seniority level
