Overview

Role: Cloud Security Engineer Location: Austin, TX Employer: Red Oak Technologies Note: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work onsite, based on the client’s specified hybrid work schedule (currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Responsibilities

Identify vulnerabilities and understand vulnerability scoring (CPE, CVE, CVSS). SBOM generation techniques using Syft, CycloneDX, and SPDX. Understand how to generate vulnerabilities without scanning an asset, not just a container. Work with Prisma Cloud, Twistlock, and Grype. Proficiency in Python and Go (Golang). Qualifications

Experience with vulnerability identification and SBOM generation techniques. Proficiency in Python and Golang. Experience with cloud security tooling (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Twistlock, Grype) is preferred. Employment details
