Overview
PawPrint is a critical AWS internal service that orchestrates compute capacity planning and delivery for regional expansions. As a Software Development Engineer, you will enhance this essential platform that serves over 1,500 AWS service teams in managing their capacity plans. You will build innovative features focused on automation and footprint optimization, directly contributing to AWS's ability to scale efficiently and meet growing customer demands. Responsibilities
Contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions with strong fundamentals in engineering. Collaborate with engineers to implement automation and footprint optimization features that support regional capacity planning. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Additional Information
