Network Engineer/ Architect (Locals Only)
Our client, Evoke Technologies, is seeking a Network Engineer/ Architect. The role involves designing and implementing computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. The ideal candidate has 60 months of experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN Networking equipment in a complex networking environment, including switches, routers/firewalls, and VPN devices. They should also have experience with network modeling, analysis, and planning, as well as troubleshooting issues using protocol analysis tools (i.e., Wireshark) and conducting in-depth analysis on network data captures. Additional requirements include 60 months of experience in network engineering, configuring and troubleshooting DMVPN, IPSEC, OSPF, and BGP to support secure enterprise connectivity. The candidate should also have experience with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS software in a complex TCP/IP environment, including routing, port forwarding/NAT, and VPN management. The role also requires 60 months of experience supporting and configuring wireless network equipment from vendors such as Cisco/Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Aruba, as well as experience working with network automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python and Ansible. The job is a full-time, mid-senior level position in information technology, specifically in software development. The location is Albany, NY, and the salary range is $135,611.84 - $184,044.64.
