Position: Part-time and full-time available
Compensation: $20/hr
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8 am - 6 pm, Friday to Sunday: hours available based on client needs and bookings
Coffee House Shifts: Monday to Thursday: 7 am - 2 pm, 12 pm - 7 pm, Friday: 8 am - 12 pm
Positions will be Monday to Thursday in the Coffee House in Scripps Ranch. Friday to Sunday shifts will be based on event needs, either on-site or off-site with clients. A flexible schedule is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Barista/Coffee Experience: 1-2 years of experience in serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages. Proficiency in automatic espresso machines and knowledge of coffee origin, types, and uses are preferred. Customer Service: 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, with the ability to assist customers, satisfy their needs, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Food Service & Safety Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a food and beverage setting, with knowledge of proper food handling and temperature compliance regulations. Candidates with a valid California Food Handler Certification and/or Barista Training Certifications are preferred. Experience with Cash Handling & POS Systems: 1-2 years of experience in handling monetary transactions and working with Point of Sale (POS) Systems, specifically Square POS. Basic Knowledge, Physical & Misc. Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, lift, stretch, stand for prolonged periods, walk, and use stairs. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required, and candidates must be comfortable driving company vehicles.
