Cloud Systems Engineer II, ADC System Security Engineering, ADC Security Services Engineering – AWS. This role focuses on building and supporting security services used across Amazon to secure internal systems and networks. The team emphasizes ease of use, customer delight, and rapid iteration at scale. At AWS, security is our highest priority. We invent, scale, and operate foundational security services that enable authentication, authorization, and enforcement across the company and AWS services. Join an established and rapidly growing DevOps engineering team maintaining an existing security service while expanding deployment, features, and capabilities for new initiatives. Work on services that are always-on and critical to the company, supporting internal users and AWS teams. Operate with a DevOps model, participate in an on-call rotation every couple of months, and embrace automated releases and testing to deploy frequently. Collaborate with teammates to ship solutions quickly, root-cause issues, and ensure services meet customer needs. Build, deploy, and maintain security services used internally (e.g., to support the US intelligence community). Mentor other Systems and Systems Development Engineers in their career growth. Work from the customer perspective to ensure features meet end-user needs. About the team

Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows) 2+ years networking experience (TCP/IP) Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python, etc.) Current, active US Government TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Preferred qualifications
