Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Linux Platform Engineer
to join our infrastructure and platform engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable Linux-based systems across cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience in
Linux administration, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), scripting, SQL , and modern monitoring/observability tools such as
Splunk . Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure
Linux server environments
across
cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) . Implement and manage
Kubernetes clusters , ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as
Terraform, Ansible, or Helm . Support production systems through performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring using tools like
Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana , etc. Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams to define infrastructure requirements and best practices. Write and optimize
SQL queries
and work with databases to ensure data performance and reliability. Ensure system and infrastructure security through vulnerability assessment, patching, and policy enforcement. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending process enhancements. Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience
with
Linux system administration
(RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.). Strong expertise in at least
one major cloud platform :
GCP, AWS, or Azure . Solid understanding and practical experience with
Kubernetes
(deployment, scaling, upgrades, monitoring). Proficiency in
scripting languages
such as
Bash, Python, or Go
for automation tasks. Experience with
SQL
and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Hands-on experience with
monitoring and logging tools
(e.g.,
Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK ). Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security practices, and system hardening. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (e.g.,
AWS Certified SysOps ,
GCP Professional Cloud Engineer ,
Azure Administrator Associate ). Experience with container security tools and practices (e.g.,
Falco, Aqua, Prisma Cloud ). Exposure to
hybrid cloud or on-prem + cloud
environments. Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare). Details
