Position Overview

The Vehicle Cybersecurity US team within Traton R&D at International is dedicated to developing robust cybersecurity architecture to protect onboard assets and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and laws. The Vehicle Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for cybersecurity protocols and controls, including TARA, secure boot, secure onboard communication, PKI strategy, and secure update mechanisms, ensuring adherence to CSMS processes. This position will be located at International’s design center in Lisle, Illinois. Occasional support may also be required at International’s test and production facilities, as well as occasional onsite support from suppliers and customers. Responsibilities

Build and provide competence in cryptographic technologies. Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards. Develop onboard and offboard security solutions. Enable secure and compliant systems for TRATON's evolving programs. Problem solving and implementing solutions to hardware and control software issues. Collaborate in a team and contribute to continuous improvement activities through Lean projects, knowledge capture, and process improvements. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science; or Master’s degree; or PhD. At least 12 years (for Bachelor’s), 8 years (for Master’s), or 5 years (for PhD) of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experience. At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies. Additional Requirements

Experience performing Threat Analysis & Risk Assessments (TARAs) per ISO/SAE 21434. Experience with UN ECE WP.29 CSMS & SUMS regulation. Experience in an information security role for an embedded product. Effective communication and presentation skills to peers, stakeholders, and senior-level leadership. Experience with requirement documentation and system engineering. Embedded hardware design and development experience. Experience with Vehicle, Powertrain or Engine Controls System design. CAN and SAE J1939 debugging experience. Vector CANalyzer/CANoe, MS Visio experience. Experience with Automotive Ethernet or LIN communications. Experience with engineering and quality design and development methodologies: (8D, FMEA, DVP&R). Benefits and Compensation
