Technology Lead – JAVA/J2EE/UI

We have a job opportunity for a Technology Lead – JAVA/J2EE/UI. The role is full-time and permanent, located in Torrance, CA, and moving to Plano, TX in June 2017. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, we will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of IT experience and strong in Java – Application and Web services. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent in Java/J2EE, Web services, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, JSP. Solid understanding of UI frameworks like Angular JS, JQuery, etc. Familiarity with agile process and methodologies, change management process, estimation methodologies, and process. Solid understanding of database concepts and hands-on working knowledge in Oracle, etc. Solid working knowledge of application servers like JBoss, Weblogic. Working knowledge of Unix commands and Shell scripts. Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Rational Performance Tester. Flexibility to work in an onsite/offshore model. Problem analysis, troubleshooting, resolution, and closure of critical issues in a timely manner. Experience in providing Production support – Incident management, Defect Tracking, etc. Proven ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience. Ability to apply technology, new features, functionality, and concepts in solving problems and implementing solutions. Excellent communication skills. Experience in application design and architecture using Java frameworks. Experience in Agile software development methodology.
