Overview
The Aerial Project & Permit Coordinator is a vital part of the Wyyerd team. The OSP team is responsible for working with outside engineers, contractors, and municipalities to enable the rapid deployment of plant to support this expansion, and the Aerial Project & Permit Coordinator plays a key role in this process, especially with municipalities. Responsibilities
Processing and understanding of permitting applications Communicating with district inspectors, construction managers and sub-contractors as needed Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits Identify, communicate, and track what is needed to obtain permit approvals Manage the overall Permit Tracker, report on status of plan reviews / permit acquisition and relay information back to the project leaders Experience with project coordination of multiple projects Documenting all related items pertaining to permits Review O-Calcs, make ready reviews, strand map reviews, and everything related to aerial plan review Complete the submissions to the aerial providers Handle all the permit coordination, including updating internal system, following up with the reviewing agency, coordination with the vendors on redline responses and timing. Processing RTCs and ensuring all required documents are in hand Closing out all the permits when complete, and providing the required documentation Work with construction and engineering regarding G095 infractions. This role will be responsible for working with other attachers to correct G095 infractions before construction (during the engineering process) and coordination of correcting infractions after construction in the field Notify via TAMS of other attachers G095 infractions found in the field Any other aerial permit related items in both markets Any other permitting activities needed in the CA market that require in-person work, such as walking in checks, attending utility meetings, etc. Experience/Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Positive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new things, team player Must have a valid License, pass a background check and maintain a good driving record Ability to understand/learn the fiber network construction process Working computer knowledge and Microsoft Office knowledge Excellent organizational skills, efficient, reliable, and attentive to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have clean driving record
