Overview

US Citizen required and must pass a federal background review and drug screen. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to execution and closeout. Manage and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met; serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders; communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively. Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets specifications and standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues. Review and analyze contractor plans and technical submittals for approval action, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications and shop drawings. Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), requests for information (RFIs), and other technical issues. Assist with hosting site visits and giving presentations to owner’s representatives. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance, resolving disputes and issues related to contracts. Monitor scheduled progress of all construction activities and phases; advise project team of potential slippage or delay. Prepare partial and final payment estimates, including measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items. Produce monthly project reports displaying project status and updates for customers. Participate in all phases of the contract modification process; assist in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, and reviews of contractor proposals; prepare contract modification documentation. Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience PMP certification preferred Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, preferred Strong background in Project Management with ability to lead and motivate teams Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required Strong technical competencies to create presentation materials and deliver presentations via electronic methods Benefits
