We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to spearhead our traffic engineering efforts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and lead the traffic engineering practice in our Fort Worth office. As the Lead Traffic Engineer, you will shape the direction and growth of our services in the region, with the support of our established company-wide traffic engineering and planning team. You will pursue and lead traffic engineering projects, build and mentor a local team, and collaborate with other disciplines across the firm. This is a role for someone who is entrepreneurial, technically strong, and eager to contribute to the long-term success and expansion of our transportation services. Key responsibilities include guiding client management and strategic business development within the Fort Worth market, expanding traffic engineering and planning services in the region, pursuing new business opportunities, building and leading a local traffic engineering and planning team as services grow, mentoring junior staff, developing proposals and participating in project interviews, defining project goals, scopes, and budgets, coordinating work of team members, ensuring quality control/assurance, delivering high-quality deliverables, communicating findings to clients, and staying current with transportation industry trends (e.g., autonomous vehicles, Smart Cities technologies, ridesharing, TSMO, ITS, etc.). Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar Professional Engineer (PE) Extensive traffic engineering experience with proven ability to lead projects and deliver high-quality results Strong interest in driving client engagement and pursuing new business opportunities Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Valid Driver's License Additional Qualifications (helpful)

Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Prior project experience with TxDOT Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation Experience with urban, multimodal transportation planning and traffic calming Experience leading teams in a project-client environment Experience with Synchro 10 and traffic signal operations/phasing Experience with traffic simulation modeling software such as PTV VISSIM Experience with innovative intersection and interchange configurations Experience with Highway Safety Manual predictive methods Experience with travel demand modeling software such as Caliper TransCAD Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (duplicate in original as applicable) Experience with urban, multimodal transportation planning and traffic calming (duplicate in original as applicable) What We Offer
