Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek an Audit Senior to join their Construction group at their Jericho, NY office. Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead client engagements from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax and audit projects, providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity Draft clear, concise, and professional reports and deliverables that communicate findings effectively to clients and stakeholders Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of tax, audit, and accounting regulations to guide staff and ensure firm-wide compliance Conduct research and demonstrate an understanding of clients’ industries, while being sensitive to their culture and unique perspectives Collaborate with partners and team members to improve processes, systems, and best practices through continuous improvement initiatives Actively participate in firm-wide initiatives, including training, recruiting, and staff retention efforts to support team growth and success Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and representing the firm in a professional manner Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication, mutual respect, and shared success Requirements
2+ years of experience as an Audit Senior Public accounting background Familiar with the construction industry Skilled in ProSystems Engagement and CCH Axcess CPA or parts passed Seniority level
