Overview
Slalom is seeking an Android Mobile App Developer for a project-based, W2 role. The candidate will design, build, and maintain mobile applications with a focus on performance and user experience, using Kotlin or Swift/SwiftUI and integrating with AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced mobile applications for Android using Kotlin or Swift/SwiftUI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Integrate AWS services such as Cognito, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB into mobile applications. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift/SwiftUI. Experience with AWS services and cloud integration. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps. Knowledge of security best practices in mobile development. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store. Compensation And Benefits
