The IT Analyst supports the IT Department and the organization in the administration of the clinical management information system and other enterprise systems. Responsibilities include assisting in purchasing, tracking and management of IT infrastructure, software licensing, IT inventory and consultant contracts; assisting in the preparation of IT Policies and Procedures; developing reports for Business Intelligence; administering disaster recovery and scheduling tests; maintaining the IT intranet page; assisting in IT distribution lists management; providing CMIS administration and scheduling, and training; supporting purchasing and pharmacy information systems; and supporting EHR training for clinical staff. Salary information is provided per the job posting: base range 21.00 - 25.995 depending on location, skills, education and experience. Administers the Clinical Management Information System and/or other systems as needed. As a member of the IT department, supports IT colleagues in Help Desk, Technical Support, Information Systems, and Training. Visit clients on-site to provide needed support solutions/shadowing as warranted. Assist in the preparation, presentation and coordination of applications training for FHCSD staff. Develop and document processes, procedures, and protocols for the IT department to ensure effective and efficient support. Enhance and maintain stored procedures (MS SQL) for recurring business intelligence reporting. Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed annually for IT Operations. Identify, prioritize, and resolve incidents, problems and changes to best serve client support requests. Maintain CLMS, license renewals and maintenance and support contracts. Participate in Quality Assurance testing in support of IT Change Management/Release processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Provide project management support for new or upgraded IT data communication, network services and other systems. Provide support for intranet development and in-house developed systems (CMIS/EHR). Represent the IT Operations on committees and at meetings as appropriate. Research problems and technologies to support client requests. Serve as liaison between IT and Prenatal Support Services and Care Coordination Services. Write documentation and procedures for existing FHCSD data communication, network services and other systems; document solved problems and FAQs. Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
Associate’s Degree in Computer or Information Systems from a two-year college or technical school, or 2 years equivalent information systems experience required. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Or equivalent combination of education and experience meeting essential job duties and any state or federal certification requirements. Travel between sites and locations occasionally required. Must have a valid California driver’s license, automobile, and minimum car insurance; acceptable driving record required. Mileage and other reimbursement governed by policy. Experience/Specialized Skills (including Language)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Knowledge of change management procedures and processes. Knowledge of Internet technologies. Detail-oriented with consistently high-quality work. Self-sufficient, innovative, and able to work with minimal supervision. Proficient in office productivity software and applications.
