Responsibilities
Contribute to designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions within a government-focused environment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including designs, implementation plans, and technical notes. Present designs to review boards and ensure alignment with security and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a minimum of sixteen (16) years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation. In-depth knowledge of network technologies such as routing and switching. Familiar with routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, ISIS). Familiar with switching protocols (STP, LACP, VTP). In-depth knowledge of network automation. Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google) and Software-defined networking (SD-WAN). Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Experience creating technical documentation (designs, implementation plans, technical notes). Ability to brief designs to review boards. Knowledge in deploying MPLS networks. Ability to learn, understand, and implement new technologies; independent learner with a proven ability to master complex technical concepts.
Desired Qualifications
Adept in network engineering with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks. Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment. Proven track record of resolving complex network issues and improving performance. Willingness to learn new technologies.
