Senior Specialist, Events Management
The Senior Specialist, Events Management is responsible for providing consultation on the development, communication and implementation of corporate client events and conferences that support the business strategy to grow revenue, market share and client satisfaction.

How you\'ll succeed
Contribute to the design and management of events, including research and making recommendations, contract negotiation, budgeting, financial reconciliation, and conference management. Apply a comprehensive, conceptual and practical understanding of the organization and delivery of events and conferences to a wide range of business and technical situations. Solve business, operational, and technical problems within the scope of their job, and form improvement recommendations to ensure CIBC corporate events meet all business unit and senior management objectives. Who you are
You have a Bachelor\'s degree in Business or a related field. You have a minimum of 5+ years related experience. You have exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills along with a strong sense of accountability and keen attention to detail. You have solid relationship management and networking skills. You are proactive in planning and organizing. You have strong technical, creative and innovative thinking skills. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $80,000 - $85,000 for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit\'s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
