Korn Ferry is partnering with our client on their search for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A.

A leading U.S.-based energy organization with large-scale refining and logistics operations, including multiple refineries, terminals, pipelines, and lubricant production sites across the country.
The company has a total refining capacity exceeding 800,000 barrels per day and employs several thousand professionals nationwide.

Role Summary
Reports to:
FP&A Manager
Team Collaboration:
Cross-functional role supporting Risk, Finance, Commercial Operations, and IT; frequent collaboration with trading, treasury, and ETRM platform users
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; CPA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of experience in FP&A, business planning, or financial risk management within energy, trading, or capital-intensive sectors
Familiarity with commodity markets (especially crude oil and refined products), derivatives, and commercial trading strategies
Experience with ETRM systems and SAP is strongly preferred
Strong ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights and to manage the nuances between different reporting frameworks
Technical fluency with financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Alteryx
Proven ability to work collaboratively in high-stakes, fast-paced environments with evolving business needs
Base Salary Range:
$140K–$160K plus bonus, depending on experience
