$125,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our client's investment team in Austin. The Associate will play a key role in evaluating, underwriting, and executing equity and credit investments in the middle market real estate space. This is a unique opportunity to work across the capital stack and gain exposure to a broad range of asset types and investment strategies. Key Responsibilities
Support the origination, underwriting, and execution of real estate equity and credit investments. Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis. Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior leadership and investment committee. Perform market research, asset-level due diligence, and competitive analysis. Assist in the negotiation of deal terms and transaction documentation. Monitor portfolio performance and support asset management initiatives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including brokers, lenders, legal counsel, and operating partners. Qualifications
2 years of experience in investment banking or private equity with a focus on real estate at a premier institution. Strong equity investing experience is required. Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills. Deep understanding of real estate fundamentals and capital markets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university.
