Havenpark Communities
The Asset Manager supports the strategic and operational performance of Havenpark’s growing real estate portfolio. This role involves overseeing asset performance, developing business plans, analyzing financials, coordinating capital projects, and supporting transactions. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Asset Manager ensures each community aligns with the company’s investment strategy and delivers long-term value.
Ideal candidates will have experience in real estate asset management or investment analysis and bring a strong blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and operational focus. This position plays a key role in driving returns while positively impacting Havenpark’s communities.
Responsibilities
Asset Performance & Strategy
Oversees the performance of assigned assets, focusing on revenue growth, expense control, and long-term value creation. Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), operating metrics, and financial targets across communities. Supports business plan development, annual budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Builds and maintains asset-level financial models to inform decision-making. Prepares internal and investor-facing reports, including variance analyses and written performance narratives. Supports refinancing evaluations, capital planning, and investment committee materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinates with operations, finance, legal, and property management teams to ensure alignment on asset strategies. Partners with external stakeholders such as joint venture partners, lenders, and appraisers to maintain communication and reporting consistency.
Capital Projects & Operational Oversight
Tracks the execution of capital improvement projects across communities. Identifies property-level risks and opportunities and recommends solutions to enhance asset value and mitigate risk.
Transactional Support
Supports the acquisition and disposition process, including underwriting, due diligence, and transition planning. Contributes to investment memoranda, transaction timelines, and strategy alignment.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in real estate asset management
Prior work with institutional investment firms is required
Skills:
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
Familiarity with budgeting platforms or property management software (a plus)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
