The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Accounting tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Compensation : Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Tutor remotely using our purpose-built Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments. Ways to connect with students and type of tutoring offered include: 1-on-1 Online Tutoring and Instant Tutoring (on-demand). Note: Varsity Tutors does not contract with tutors in: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Accounting and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students. Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available. Qualifications
