Project Associate – Architect position located in Honolulu, HI. Onsite | Full-Time. What You’ll Do

Conduct site inspections (façade, roof, waterproofing, below-grade) from scaffolds, lifts, rooftops, and sub-grade spaces. Participate in shop inspections and laboratory mock-ups/testing; prepare supporting QA/QC reports. Prepare field reports, meeting minutes, technical letters, and project documentation in a clear, professional format. Assist in preparing and modifying AutoCAD drawings, specifications, and construction details. Review and organize approved drawings, shop drawings, submittals, calculations, and reference materials (including DPP Building Code). Provide timely observations to project leaders to help resolve construction issues. Attend client, contractor, and consultant meetings in a professional manner. What You’ll Bring

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (preferred, but not required) 1–3 years of relevant experience in architecture, or construction (field observation experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings Strong technical writing and communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with fieldwork at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions Preferred Certifications (or willingness to obtain)

OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training OSHA -compliant Scaffold User Certificate Special Inspection Certifications (e.g., Masonry, Structural Steel, Post-Installed Anchors) Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based in Honolulu, HI with an onsite schedule. Standard working hours are Monday–Friday: 9am – 6pm Travel outside the local area may be required depending on project conditions. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401K plan with a match.
