Are you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Audit? At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from various industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen your career foundation. Whether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by experienced staff and management. As your skills grow, you will take on greater responsibilities and actively shape your career path. How you will contribute:
Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data Helping draft management letter comments and the audit report Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers What we are looking for:
Effective time management Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work well both independently and in a team Problem-solving attitude Willingness to take initiative Close attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting Must be pursuing education requirements to become a licensed CPA in the state of the office Completion of 150 academic credits prior to start date Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state of the office Solid technical accounting knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Reliable transportation to attend off-site meetings Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internships in public accounting performing audit work Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Verification of employment eligibility is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Additional Details:
