Financial Services - Wealth and Asset Management - Tax Senior - EDGE multi-client role at EY. Work independently, identify problem areas, and escalate as needed to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate tax returns, tax research, tax accounting, and tax projects. Lead or participate in moderately complex tax projects including implementation of new tax laws and analysis of tax methods of accounting and processes for compliance. Identify moderately complex tax issues and provide recommended solutions through research and position development. Lead the preparation and review of moderately complex tax/accounting regulatory and tax compliance with limited supervision. Perform and document research and analysis on related accounting and tax issues. Guide team members and model behavior on moderately complex tax projects. Stay up to date on new tax and accounting developments and EY technologies and processes related to the role. Responsibilities include
Prepare or review complex financial closings, tax compliance filings, and other tax-related processes or tasks. Compile and evaluate moderately complex data, computations, documentation, and various tax and accounting technologies. Ensure service quality across delivery and understand opportunity risk related to the Scope of Services. Develop and document processes and obtain cross-functional alignment to support internal teams. Demonstrate deep technical excellence in specific offerings and broaden technical skills across capabilities. Maintain internal network by providing technical assistance within EY in your area of expertise. Provide effective oversight, feedback, and coaching to junior team members. Mentor/coach team members to develop technical and leadership capabilities. Skills and Attributes for Success
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and finance principles to complete moderately complex assignments. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial and tax applications such as GoSystems, Onesource, TP, CorpTax, as required by area of specialism. Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication. Proven analytical and conceptual abilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics. 4–6 years of increasingly diverse or moderately complex experience in related field. Ability to prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently. Some supervision skills; proficient with Microsoft products; proficiency in tax accounting systems. Experience with financial and tax applications such as GoSystems, CorpTax, Onesource, as required by area of specialism. Ideally, you’ll also have
