You will take charge of the entire integration process—from designing iFlows and Groovy scripts to testing and performance monitoring—ensuring that our technical solutions align with our business goals. Experience with CPEA entitlements and foundational services such as Destinations, Cloud Connector, and XSUAA will be beneficial. What you’ll be working on: Solution Design & Development

Technical Expertise

Writing efficient and maintainable Groovy scripts for various tasks including mappings, validations, exception handling, and custom adapters. Handling data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, XSLT, and working with message mappings and content-based routing. Applying diverse integration patterns: request/reply, pub/sub, async messaging, orchestration, scatter-gather, and ensuring reliable delivery.

System & Data Integrity

Maintaining high-quality data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems while safeguarding PII and sensitive information through encryption and secure credential management. Aligning with SAP data models including IDocs, BAPIs, Business Events, and Core Data Services.

Troubleshooting & Support

Overseeing level 2 and level 3 support for integration incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing proactive solutions. Utilizing monitoring tools, message tracing, and cloud management platforms to adhere to service level agreements.

API Management

Managing and securing APIs through SAP API Management by employing policies for OAuth2/JWT, API keys, mTLS, and more. Overseeing API governance across different stages (development, testing, production) with clear versioning and lifecycle controls.

Documentation & Delivery Operations

Creating detailed design specifications, sequence diagrams, interface catalogs, operational guides, and runbooks. Coordinating transport management with BTP Transport Management Service (TMS), as well as CI/CD pipelines. Implementing automated testing tools like Postman/ReadyAPI, mocks, and regression tests.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment

Collaborating with SAP functional leads to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria. Translating business needs into integration contracts and service level agreements, guiding design reviews and user acceptance testing.

Performance & Cost Optimization

Monitoring system performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and error rates, and optimizing system configurations accordingly. Managing CPEA consumption effectively by tracking entitlements and adjusting service plans as required.
