What will you do?

Technical lead in architecture definition, design, and integration of new innovative storage and server intelligent infrastructure solutions Design, develop, and debug firmware by applying knowledge of server hardware architecture and system design Strong knowledge of Linux device drivers and OpenBMC implementation nuances Create/review high-level and low-level design flows, and map them into firmware architecture and implementation Co-review the HW schematic relative to the firmware design Source code management (Git), code review for design changes, and release firmware Communicate technical aspects of a project effectively to cross-functional teams Assist in technical proposals, feature assessment, and analysis of risks, blockers, and opportunities to ensure a smooth project transition How will you get here?

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related equivalent experience Experience

Firmware development required 7+ years related firmware development Server or storage product experience required Min. 2 years in Open-source and closed-source server and storage stack experience Min. 2 years expertise in design and debugging firmware, BIOS, Linux Kernel, and/or Linux OS issues on SoC and platform level; UEFI, Coreboot is required Min. 2 years solid knowledge of low-level protocols (I2C/I3C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO/SGPIO) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to influence others and share best practices Understand and meet customer needs and expectations Work as part of a global team Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Preferred Qualifications

BMC, OpenBMC, BIOS, RoT firmware experience BIOS concepts and experience are preferred Good C and C++ coding skills with well-designed concepts and code tracing Familiar with Linux operating system, kernel, and applications Understanding of BMC IPMI 2.0 and DCMI1.5 (IPMI Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, event log, PEF, ME, NM, PECI) Experience porting BMC to custom hardware or algorithms Experience in at least one complete server project cycle Experience in Redfish or BMC WebUI or Linux kernel development Compensation range: $127,300 – $229,200 Target Bonus: 20% annually Fraud and safety notice
