As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will work with your team on various challenging projects and build the infrastructure for our platform and the thousands of companies that trust HackerOne with their cybersecurity posture. You are a collaborative and effective Infrastructure Engineer leader and team member. You combine broad technological expertise, deep domain knowledge, and an unwavering dedication to security as you intersect with the engineering organization. You seek leadership responsibilities, identify and spearhead new initiatives, and make systematic improvements to technical weaknesses you find in your squad\'s codebases and shared codebases across the company. You understand what it takes to build highly available, performant, and durable cloud architecture. You work cross-functionally, earning buy-in from stakeholders across the organization with a service mentality. At HackerOne, we embrace a Flexible Work approach that gives us the freedom to do our best work while also fostering the connections and community that make us stronger. This is a remote role targeted for candidates within ~50 miles of

We believe this balance of proximity and flexibility gives HackerOnies the chance to occasionally come together—fostering collaboration, connection, and in-person moments that enrich our culture while preserving the benefits of remote work. Beyond 90 days, you will be a full-fledged Infrastructure Engineer. By that time, you will understand the business value of our products and features and the needs of our customers, and you can translate feature requests into simple but robust engineering (or non-engineering) solutions.
