to join their Long/Short Equity team. The firm is known for its forward-thinking investment approach, integrating data science, technology, and deep fundamental research. Job Description: As a Therapeutic Healthcare Analyst, you will focus on identifying investment opportunities across the
bio-pharmaceutical space , including innovative therapeutics, specialty pharma, and biotech companies. You\'ll work closely with the Healthcare sector lead to generate high-conviction, actionable ideas using your buy-side experience and deep sector knowledge. This role requires
at least 1 year of experience conducting long/short equity research , ideally within the healthcare vertical. You should have a strong understanding of drug pipelines, regulatory pathways, competitive dynamics, and clinical trial data interpretation. Experience presenting investment ideas to PMs and driving alpha is essential. Key Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive fundamental research and financial analysis on bio-pharma and therapeutic healthcare companies. Monitor clinical trial developments, FDA approvals, and regulatory changes. Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses. Present investment ideas and insights to portfolio managers and the investment committee. Collaborate with other analysts and PMs to align on sector strategy. Leverage alternative data and technology tools to enhance research depth and accuracy. Stay current on earnings, competitive landscape, and macro trends impacting the healthcare sector. Qualifications
5+ years of total experience
in equity research, with
at least 1 year on the buy-side conducting long/short equity analysis . Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field. Strong understanding of the bio-pharma and therapeutic healthcare space. Proven ability to generate differentiated investment ideas and drive performance. Excellent modeling, analytical, and communication skills. Interest in applying alternative data and tech-driven insights to investment research. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. PhD or other advanced degree in a life sciences discipline is a plus, but not required. Seniority level
