Finance Sector Leader , you will: Report to the Global Finance Market sector Director, focusing on client development and management in North America, serving as a client and project manager for key clients. Identify and develop project opportunities, act as a pursuit champion, and support HDR pursuits. Plan, direct, and monitor large and complex projects. Assess the marketplace to determine the best business strategies to win contracts. Collaborate cross-sector with other market sectors and business groups. Serve as the Client Manager for key clients, promoting HDR services. Work with Business Group Managers on sector initiatives. Support pursuits through relationship development and strategic planning. Participate in industry associations and community organizations. Identify key investments to maintain or enhance HDR's industry leadership. Develop relationships with industry counterparts and senior client leaders. Enhance practices to improve market performance and staff growth. Lead recruitment efforts for future Finance sector employees. Coordinate with technical staff to support marketing and project activities. Identify needs for new technical services and products. Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans. Support service delivery within the Finance sector. Monitor sector performance indicators and implement process improvements. Promote effective resource use and work sharing. Assist with contract reviews and risk management. Support QA/QC programs and share lessons learned. Take on appropriate project management assignments. Preferred Qualifications BS degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. PE and PMP preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in the Finance sector with a significant client portfolio. Experience leading and mentoring project management staff. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and drive project success. Willingness to travel within North America and occasionally overseas. Proven sales success and planning/budgeting experience. Active involvement in industry associations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, or related field. At least 10 years of industry experience. If an engineer, maintain engineering registration. Experience in strategic marketing, client relationship management, staff development, and industry involvement. What We Believe HDR is our company. The compensation range for this position is $160,000 - $225,000 annually, depending on skills and location.
