About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounting Manager
to join a dynamic property management company in Hayward. This is a
temp-to-hire
opportunity offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with a collaborative team in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Supervise and mentor accounting staff Collaborate with property managers and leadership to support financial decision-making Utilize
Yardi
software for all accounting functions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management Recent hands-on experience with Yardi is required Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
