Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients. Transforming nonprofit client financial departments to help them meet their mission! Financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting client strategy and best practices Transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), and payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and maintaining workpapers Analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting Prepare for and manage annual audit Client and staff training opportunities Qualifications

Passionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizations Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance 5-7 plus years accounting experience Experience working in a remote environment preferred Ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and be responsive on a timely basis Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems Non-profit accounting, public accounting experience, and/or consulting experience is a plus but not required CPA certification is a plus Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications for this role is required What We Offer
