Overview
The Senior Analyst, Analytics & Insights will be a key member of a high-impact team focused on unlocking $80M+ in business value through data-driven insights, scalable tools, and supplier enablement strategies. This role goes beyond reporting—it requires a curious, analytical thinker who can explore data, form hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and translate findings into action. The individual will support and scale analytics across assortment and supplier health, gaps in assortment and supplier coverage, and competitive pricing. They will contribute to goal tracking, performance metrics, and Weekly Business Review (WBR) reporting, including operational KPIs such as speed and customer experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and using modern tools and technologies—including AI and machine learning—to identify opportunities, automate insights, and drive strategic decisions. Responsibilities
15% Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers, and business analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions 65% Data analytics with large volumes of data, using a wide variety of database applications / analytical tools including SQL, SAS, R, and Python 10% Data cleansing, validation, testing 5% Enhancements / modifications to systems & procedures 5% Supporting end users, problem solving, troubleshooting Direct Manager / Direct Reports
Reports to a Manager. This position has no direct reports. Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python and tools like Jupyter Lab. Exposure to product development or product-oriented thinking. Background in accounting or finance, especially in merchant-facing roles. Experience developing or collaborating on software or web applications; ability to communicate effectively with technical teams. Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Preferred Education
