6 to 8 years of business requirement analysis experience in BFSI • Proficient with SQL • Experience in P&C Insurance domain • Experience working in Insurance Packages (Duckcreek, Majesco, Guidewire.). • Experience in Duckcreek preferred • Experience working in Core Policy module • Experience in Agile methodology • Excellent interpersonal skills and should be proactive • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint) • Ability to multitask projects and prioritize tasks • Excellent communication skills • Approachable in nature and confident in own abilities • Exhibits an attention to detail • Comfortable in challenging the status quo • Exhibits high standards of integrity • Effective time management and organizational skills • Critical thinker and ability to demonstrate logical approach to problem solving • Support IT team – requirements and workflow SME, delivery planning activities, Test scenario reviews, requirements walktrough, etc. • Develop level appropriate functional and non-functional requirements consumable for A&D • Ensures that business requirements are articulated and represented with a high degree of quality during all phases of the TDF/SDLC • Ensures that each business requirement is testable • Provides strict adherence to the business, user, functional and non-functional requirements of a project • Provides traceability of all requirements through the entire project life cycle • Enforces standard processes, templates and methods used to support project work • Acts as bridge between offshore and onshore team members Preferred Functional background: • Strong functional knowledge of Insurance industry concepts – especially P&C insurance. • Hands-on experience/knowledge on Policy Administration Systems (PAS), Underwriting functions • Added advantage -- good knowledge of Speciality insurance concepts, External insurance certifications – AINS or INS21 Roles and Responsibilities • Work by collaborating with the Business and IT stakeholders, Architect, Scrum master and Implementation team to gather business requirements • Facilitate requirements meetings, as needed • Prepare BRD/FRD based on the requirements • Work closely with offshore and customer team from requirement till deployment • Test the changes and ensure that the changes meet the requirements as specified by business • Work and support during UAT and make sure deliverable are 100% defect free before delivering to customer • Should dig through the system to understand the downstream impact of a change About the company
