As a Product - Data Governance Vice President within Wholesale Credit Risk Product team, you will collaborate with product and technology partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy that ensures data integrity, quality, privacy, security and accessibility across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable Develop and enforce data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data is managed effectively and securely Manage data privacy and compliance Design and maintain the data architecture, ensuring that data is integrated and accessible across systems Manage metadata to ensure that data is easily discoverable and understood by users. Standardized data models Implement measures to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches Manage the lifecycle of data from creation to deletion, ensuring that data is retained and disposed of appropriately Establish a framework for data governance that includes the processes, policies, and technologies needed to manage data effectively Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to ensure that data governance aligns with organizational goals Define critical data elements across credit risk processes and applications. Define ownership of data inputs, enrichment, changes, and outputs across processes Identify and define strategic sources of data, clearly understanding the product use case and the credit risk process the data is required for Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field 7+ years of relevant work experience in Credit Risk, Data Strategy, Data Management, Data Analytics or a related capacity Experience within large Financial Services firms and basic level of domain knowledge in Credit Risk Practical knowledge of SQL and ability to work with large data volumes Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions and proficiency in process re-engineering or similar Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional data initiatives with multiple stakeholders Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills Strong data analysis, problem-solving and project management skills Exceptional communication and organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships Ability to lead, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
