Plant Controller
to join their team near Des Moines Iowa. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of plant controllership experience, strong advanced Excel skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a client’s direct hire leadership position within the plant facility and the position is on-site 5 days per week. Full relocation will be paid by the hiring company. Managing the full cycle accounting and financial statement preparation GAAP compliance, Financial Statement analysis and preparation of the reporting package All budgets/forecasts and product price/cost analysis Partner with the Plant Manager and collaborate with the operations team to maximize plant profitability All accounting policies and procedures SOX reporting and coordination with external auditors Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or related, advanced degree preferred, but not required 5 – 10+ years as a Plant Controller in the manufacturing industry Experience/knowledge of standard cost, product costing and SAP experience required. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with executive presence. Ability to manage deadlines, and multiple priorities.
