We are a well-established firm in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Tax Accountant
to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering accurate and timely tax compliance and preparation services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations Conduct tax research and planning to minimize client tax liabilities Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve tax-related issues Maintain accurate documentation and support files for audit readiness
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, and accounting Proficiency in preparing financial statements and understanding GAAP Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy CPA certification or working toward CPA designation is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
