SEC Technical Reporting
Consultant
who will take the lead role to prepare and analyze regulatory reporting requirements, prepare monthly financial statements, monthly reporting packages, draft sections of the annual, quarterly and interim SEC reports related to 10k/q and MD&A commentary and other relevant disclosures, as well as perform other accounting and reporting functions as necessary. The

will also support the internal and external financial reporting including loads to Active Disclosure, and utilization of Equity Compensation systems. SEC TECHNICAL REPORTING
CONSULTANT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the quarterly SEC filings for 10k & 10q and produce proper footnote disclosures and the MD&A commentary. Prepare press release financials to include GAAP & Non-GAAP reconciliations. Support the research and drafting of whitepapers for any new, critical, or unusual accounting issues. Partner with external audit team to assess and implement or update internal controls, standards and compliance with SOX 404. Monitor new GAAP and SEC releases and work with the accounting group to help define and implement necessary process and reporting changes. Assist the accounting team with revenue recognition analysis and equity related calculations and disclosures including share-based compensation expense, EPS, and equity related disclosures needed for the footnotes. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
required. Active CPA certification is
required. 7+ years in corporate accounting and practical experience mixed of public or industry accounting within a publicly traded manufacturing company. Familiarity with foreign exchange translations. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated business impact Strong technical understanding and demonstrated application of US GAAP. Exceptional interpersonal skills and English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare concise and coherent financial narratives. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including heavy modeling Ability to handle ambiguity in a rapidly changing fast paced environment Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines Ability to function as a team player
