Overview
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Property & Asset Management Analyst OR Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst. This position can be located onsite in Rancho Bernardo, CA or Palmdale, CA. Clearance: DoD Secret; Travel: up to 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available. Role involves acting as a subject matter expert for management of hardware, accountability, inventory, movement and sustainment within a large multi-engineering discipline organization across multiple sites. The role may require full-time on-site work with a 9-80 schedule; no remote/hybrid/telework option. Responsibilities
Assess supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material, and rough-cut capacity for all products. Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning; manage product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyze and aggregate supply/demand requirements. Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent BOM requirements. Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to schedule new product line phase-ins and existing product line phase-outs. Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels and working capital as needed. Create/releases requisitions; review requirements for non-standard parts; analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements. Conduct physical inventory of property and material under the organization’s purview. Address Property Management aspects related to FAR 52.245-1 compliance for program COMMS and Payload IPT and calibration recall efforts. Note: This role requires working on-site at the facility with no remote option. Travel up to 10% may be required. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications – Analyst
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of related experience; OR Master’s degree with 0 years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Inventory management experience and knowledge of industry inventory management practices. Ability to lift 25 pounds and obtain forklift operator’s license. Active DoD Secret clearance (and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance). Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) before employment and maintain upgraded SAP/PAR during employment. Basic Qualifications – Principal Analyst
