Assistant Vice President, Principal Auditor - JL9025649 DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President, Principal Auditor in Cary, NC to work within Anti Financial Crimes (AFC) Sanctions and Embargoes (S&E) team on the S&E Audit and Validation book of work, including Obligations/Enforcement Actions and Group Audit (GA) Findings. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Audit or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing sanctions and embargoes or financial crime and compliance audits within the financial services industry; working with audit and 2nd line of defense in sanctions at a financial institution, including analyzing regulatory requirements and advising the business to address sanctions risk, and 3rd line of defense audit; ensuring compliance with Anti Financial Crime (AFC) regulatory requirements and AFC risk and control environments, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) by performing audits and testing of controls through operational and design effectiveness test; keeping abreast of current and emerging trends in general and industry/business specific risks; addressing and advising sanctions risk management utilizing screening tools (Fircosoft) and its screening logic to disposition transaction alerts; blocking, rejecting and reporting process to OFAC and performing root cause analysis of OFAC breaches. Salary range: $148,000.00 - $165,000.00/ year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program. Responsibilities

Work within the AFC Sanctions and Embargoes (S&E) team on the S&E Audit and Validation book of work, including Obligations/Enforcement Actions and Group Audit (GA) Findings. Analyze regulatory requirements and advise the business to address sanctions risk; support 2nd line of defense in sanctions and 3rd line of defense audit. Perform audits and testing of controls to ensure compliance with AFC regulatory requirements and AFC risk and control environments (BSA, AML, OFAC). Keep abreast of current and emerging trends in general and industry/business specific risks. Utilize screening tools (Fircosoft) and screening logic to disposition transaction alerts; manage blocking, rejection, and reporting to OFAC; conduct root cause analysis of OFAC breaches. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Audit or related field or equivalent. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing sanctions and embargoes or financial crime and compliance audits within the financial services industry; experience working with audit and 2nd line of defense in sanctions at a financial institution, including analyzing regulatory requirements and advising the business to address sanctions risk; and 3rd line of defense audit. Experience ensuring compliance with AFC regulatory requirements and AFC risk and control environments (BSA, AML, OFAC) through audits and testing of controls, including evaluating design and operating effectiveness. Familiarity with screening tools (e.g., Fircosoft) and related processes for disposition of alerts. Salary range: $148,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year.
