Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $135,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns using OneSource and CCH Axcess. Ensure timely and accurate filing of extensions, quarterly estimates, and year-end tax planning. Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda to support tax positions. Monitor the status of electronic tax filings to confirm acceptance by tax authorities. Mentor and support junior staff while contributing to process improvements and team development.
Requirements
3+ years of corporate tax experience, or 5+ years in lieu of a degree. Manage and coach others effectively in a collaborative team environment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulatory changes. Utilize tax software systems such as CCH Axcess, BNA, and Microsoft Excel proficiently. Prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Possess or be actively pursuing a CPA or EA license (preferred). Bring experience with tax compliance for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Share ideas constructively and contribute positively to team discussions and initiatives.
