As an Accounting Specialist with ISC, you will be responsible for the daily operational cash functions within the department, and you will use data analytics to uncover valuable insights in financials, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and support accounting concepts. Position Responsibilities
Operating in multiple insurance-based accounting platforms. Posting outgoing cash through multiple bank accounts with daily volumes up to 1M. Invoicing / Billing. Direct Bill Statements. Monitoring aged receivables and collections. Maintains financial records for affiliated companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts. Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information. Pulling financial reports and assisting with special projects. Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries. Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts, and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers. Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial requirements. Fulfills related tasks to accomplish the accounting and organization mission. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant accounting experience Minimum of one year experience in accounting Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Excel experience required Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly pay range for this position is $21 - $23 USD. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience.
