About the Role

We are looking for a Real Estate Transactions attorney in our Wilmington, DE office. Candidates must be licensed in Delaware. Ideally, candidates will have some level of portable business, but it is not a requirement. Our commercial real estate practice serves as developers’ counsel in some of the region’s most notable transactions, representing developers and owners in the full life cycle of the asset, including acquisition, financing, structuring joint ventures, construction, leasing, and eventually, disposition. Candidates must have 10 plus years of experience in transaction work, including corporate governance, acquisition and sale of real estate, M&A, and tax. An LLM in tax or experience in commercial litigation is a plus. Responsibilities

Serve as developers’ counsel in notable transactions. Represent developers and owners in the full life cycle of the asset. Handle acquisition, financing, structuring joint ventures, construction, leasing, and disposition. Manage transaction work, including corporate governance, acquisition and sale of real estate, M&A, and tax. Qualifications

10 plus years of experience in transaction work. Licensed in Delaware. Preferably licensed in at least one other jurisdiction. An LLM in tax or experience in commercial litigation is a plus. Required Skills

Strong background in real estate transactions. Experience in corporate governance and M&A. Ability to manage complex legal transactions. Preferred Skills

Portable business is preferred but not required. Leadership experience in local, regional, and national industry organizations.
