Clinical Investigator, Gastrointestinal Oncology, Department of Medicine Boston University Medical Campus — Clinical Services

Overview The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a medical oncologist to join its program in Gastrointestinal Oncology. This rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary program focuses on providing exceptional clinical care and performing high-impact research in gastrointestinal malignancies. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise as well as an interest in clinical/translational research.

Responsibilities

Participate in and provide leadership for clinical trials within the Gastrointestinal Oncology program.

Collaborate with internal and external laboratory-based investigators on basic and translational research projects.

Engage in teaching and supervision of students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree.

Board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology (BE/BC).

Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts.

Academic rank will be based on qualifications and experience.
