As a truck driver, you will safely transport products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading per customer invoices and company standards. 10 Paid Holidays! Well Maintained Equipment - All Automatics. Bi-Weekly pay. Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Benefits active the 1st of the month after 31 days of employment. 401k and Sysco Stock Purchase Plan DEDICATED ROUTES! (*does not apply to Extra Board drivers.) Evening Dispatch, Sunday - Friday. Most routes out no more than 36 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer using manual or equipment assistance, ensuring delivery to designated areas per specifications. Complete necessary paperwork in adherence to guidelines, including DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow food safety protocols for product handling, maintaining cleanliness in your vehicle and the workplace. Build good relationships with customers through excellent service and communication. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school is also accepted. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and must be insurable to operate a vehicle. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices. Skill in operating a tractor trailer over diverse terrains and conditions, effective problem-solving, and customer communication. Ability to:

Operate a tractor-trailer safely in varying conditions, meet productivity goals, handle diverse products, and effectively document processes. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent lifting and movement of products weighing up to 50 pounds, with the ability to manage 350 pounds using equipment. The role requires climbing, bending, and adjusting vision for operational tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position involves exposure to changing weather conditions and mechanical parts, typically working overnight, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer needs.
