THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global manufacturer in their search for a dynamic and agile Human Resources Director to join our client's HR & Executive leadership team to drive the HR strategy forward.
Candidates must reside within 30 miles of Boise, ID, with the ability to commute onsite as required and travel nationwide to support strategic HR functions and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with leadership to implement HR and talent strategies focused on recruitment, retention, and employee development
Provide expert guidance to site HR Managers and employees on complex HR issues
Work with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent HR services
Support the talent acquisition team in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various positions
Partner with Finance and Business Operations to manage headcount and labor cost budgets
Analyze business metrics to understand and predict HR needs
Oversee compensation reviews and recommend best practices
Conduct disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Act as a culture ambassador for the company
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A master's degree is highly preferred
Minimum of 10+ years in a similar HR role within manufacturing/distribution environments, with progressive and complex HR experience required
Proven project management and HR initiative implementation experience required
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
What we offer:
Hybrid/onsite work schedule with up to 50% travel required
Flexible hours; core business hours 8 am to 5 pm
Pay starts at $175k + annual 15% bonus - depends heavily on experience
