Perkins Coie LLP is seeking associates to join our cutting-edge Technology Transactions & Privacy practice. This position is available in multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: drafting and negotiating licensing and technology agreements, advising on intellectual property issues, supporting M&A and financing transactions, supporting transactions involving new technologies such as AI and blockchain, and advising start-ups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues. The ideal candidate will also have subject matter expertise in enterprise software, cloud services, outsourcing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, financial technologies and payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, interactive entertainment (including games), digital content, and/or hardware. Experience working at an AmLaw 50 law firm is required. Excellent academic credentials are required.

Responsibilities/Qualifications This role involves advising on licensing and technology agreements, intellectual property issues, M&A and financing transactions, and development activities involving new technologies. Ideal candidates will have experience in enterprise software, cloud services, outsourcing, AI, blockchain, fintech and payment systems, mobile apps, e-commerce, interactive entertainment, digital content, and/or hardware. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and experience at an AmLaw 50 firm are required. Excellent academic credentials are required.

Compensation & Benefits This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits. More information regarding benefits and programs may be found here.

Compensation range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
