Overview:
LPL’s Financial Planning Services team is seeking passionate, experienced, and highly motivated planning professionals to help drive financial planning adoption and impact among financial advisors affiliated with banks and credit unions. What are we looking for?
As a Senior Financial Planning Success Consultant, you will support LPL-affiliated enterprises in launching, refining or scaling financial planning adoption. This role increases planning engagement and implementation across the enterprise channel, contributing to advisor productivity and client outcomes. You’ll collaborate with internal partners and enterprise program leaders to deliver tailored support aligned with institutional business models. Responsibilities.
Provide consulting to bank, credit union and/or enterprise-affiliated advisors on financial planning practice management, including process design, service and pricing models, technology integration, and business model optimization. Educate advisors on planning opportunities such as retirement, estate, tax, and risk management strategies, with a focus on applicability within enterprise environments. Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions and create educational materials tailored to the needs of enterprise advisors. Support onboarding of enterprise advisors to financial planning tools, resources, and workflows. Identify opportunities for plan development and implementation support and facilitate cross-departmental referrals to enhance client service and business growth. Contribute to the development of content, tools, and resources that support financial planning adoption and advisor success within banks and credit unions. Analyze engagement data to assess effectiveness of planning initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align financial planning efforts with broader enterprise goals and initiatives. Represent Financial Planning Services in advisor engagements, enterprise program meetings, and internal initiatives. Consult with enterprise program leaders and affiliated advisors to activate or refine their financial planning approach. Facilitate peer engagement opportunities to share best practices and promote adoption of planning tools and services within the enterprise channel. Stay current on financial planning trends and apply insights to enterprise-specific initiatives and advisor support. Assist in managing planning-related escalations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; CFP certification strongly preferred or in progress. 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning or advisor consulting. Proficiency in financial planning software (eMoney preferred). Experience in delivering education or consulting in a financial planning context. Competencies
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Experience working with or supporting advisors in bank or credit union environments preferred. Preferences
CFP certification is strongly preferred or in the progress of obtaining. FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 preferred. Pay Range
$74,100-$123,500/year Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
