Overview
About the Role: The Senior Clinical Content Consultant – Pharmacist participates in the development and maintenance of detailed and specialized clinical content to support proprietary domestic and international databases. While ensuring consistency with information curated by other Wolters Kluwer Health Products, the role applies advanced clinical experience and knowledge of statistics and research principles when evaluating and interpreting scientific literature and other evidence. It combines clinical experience with evidence synthesis to determine appropriate, meaningful inclusion of new information in referential or data-driven clinical decision support databases. The incumbent assesses and mitigates risks of drug therapy and clinical decision support based on pharmacotherapy knowledge, disease/condition understanding, and patient-specific variables. Responsible for creating and revising high-quality drug information (referential/embedded) consistent with the database format and structure, and with expected data behavior when coupled with software logic in Wolters Kluwer Health products. This includes participation in the creation of rules and value sets and the maintenance of, and mapping to, standard terminologies to support our expert solutions. Responsibilities
Creates content in the area of antineoplastic pharmacology and therapeutics, requiring analysis and synthesis of evidence from peer-reviewed literature, treatment guidelines, product labeling, and clinical practice experience, including collaboration with expert clinical consultants in the field. Manages oncology compendia in accordance with Wolters Kluwer oncology compendia process and policy. Conducts peer review of content development (e.g., professional drug monographs, projects). Maintains external expert consultant relationships to facilitate qualification and synthesis of content and provide expert opinion. Collaboratively coordinates surveillance of drugs and therapeutic developments within drug treatments for oncologic disorders for core pharmacology database updates. Participates in reconciliation of content across referential databases and other database maintenance projects. Works on a specialty team (oncology pharmacotherapy team) to edit created content for publication. Skills

Education: Pharm.D. with oncology expertise or relevant equivalent experience Experience: 5+ years of clinical practice experience in oncology A clinical residency in oncology or equivalent clinical experience Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy Contributes expert and has broad knowledge across field of specialization serving as a senior advisor to management Anticipates business and industry issues and recommends development of departmental or area strategy Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business Recognized as an internal expert on improvements to products, processes or services Leads projects or initiatives across departments or areas with notable risk and complexity Impacts the direction and resource allocation for projects across departments or areas Communicates complex ideas and persuades senior-level audiences to adopt a different point of view Progression to this level is typically based on business requirements LI- Remote
