Addison Group is representing a privately held real estate organization based in Seattle, WA, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join its growing team. Specializing in the acquisition, development, construction, and management of commercial and industrial properties, the company is known for its strong regional presence, long-term partnerships, and commitment to high-quality developments throughout the Pacific Northwest. Position Summary The Controller will report directly to the President and be responsible for leading the company’s multi-entity accounting and financial operations. This individual will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls, while supporting strategic initiatives and helping the business scale efficiently. Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Direct all accounting operations, including management of the general ledger, month end, quarter, and annual close Oversee accounting team leadership Ensure timely and accurate financial statements for corporate entities, project-level entities, and joint ventures; review intercompany accounting transactions Cash flow forecasting and analysis of P&L Partner with development and asset management teams to monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance Oversee tax planning, compliance, and audit activities Develop and enforce internal financial policies, procedures, and controls Manage cash flow and banking relationships across various entities Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and support for development pro formas and investment decisions Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA and/or prior public accounting experience a plus Minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience; minimum of 3 years in a management function Experience with single purpose entity or SPV, or multi-entity preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in accounting systems such as Yardi, Sage Intacct, or MRI; advanced Excel skills required Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with a collaborative mindset This position offers a salary range of $180,000 to $195,000 base depending on experience.
