Claims Analyst

Our client is seeking a Claims Analyst to join their team! This position is located in San Diego, California. Duties : Investigate, analyze, and resolve property damage claims filed by or against the company within designated authority limits Conduct evidence gathering through on-site inspections, photography, and interviews with witnesses and involved parties Examine and evaluate relevant records, reports, and documentation to support claim resolution Maintain accurate and detailed claim investigation files and documentation throughout the process Collaborate with engineers, contractors, attorneys, and claimants to assess damages and determine appropriate settlement actions Recommend settlement strategies and support decision-making through comprehensive claim analysis Pursue recovery of funds for company property damage by locating responsible parties, negotiating settlements, and coordinating billing communications Support legal proceedings as needed, including participation in hearings and trials related to property damage claims Desired Skills / Experience : Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is highly desired 3+ years of experience in claims adjusting, with a strong preference for subrogation and recovery, claim intake alone does not qualify Background in general liability, casualty claims, motor vehicle accidents, bodily injury, and / or property damage may be considered as a substitute for subrogation / recovery experience Experience handling multi-line claims, personal and commercial, including casualty claims investigation, liability analysis, bodily injury, and case management, is strongly preferred Benefits : 401K offered 21.70 - $31.10 (est. hourly rate) Create a job alert for this search
